Director
Drama | 16m | 2024
In this psychological drama, a nameless character
battles isolation in a society where citizens are
confined to their homes for the 89 days of winter.
With only the occasional interaction with their
infrequent caretaker, their mental state deteriorates,
and a desperate act of rebellion reveals red for the
first time.
Blue was created as part of Portland State University's Advanced Production Workshop class, where we took an idea from pitch to premiere in 10 weeks and It recently won first place at PSU's end-of-year showcase! Blue deals with themes of seasonal depression and isolation off the cusp of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Inspired by the look and feel of Picasso’s Blue Period, this film is meant to feel melancholic, cold, and isolating. This short film explores the question--- What would happen if the lockdown faced during the pandemic was an annual event for the betterment of society--- how much could the human body and mind take?

DON'T WAKE HER
Writer | Director | Producer
Drama | 31m | 2024
The film follows a chronically overtired and overworked young adult named Tae as she experiences burnout at her 9-5 office job. When Tae begins having what she thinks are strange dreams, she must come to terms with herself, her priorities, and what brings her down.
The film aims to critique office-grind culture and
the late-state capitalist system we find ourselves in
today. The crew consisted of Portland State
University film students working on a volunteer
basis for the sake of filmmaking and the passion
we have for it.

THE MAN IN MY WINDOW
Producer | Line Producer | UPM
Horror | 10m | 2024
Seemingly resigned to a life of passivity, a woman in a dysfunctional relationship reflects on her attempts to avoid the gaze of the man watching through her window.
Can the safety of passivity be enough to willingly deny your own agency? How long can you ignore the futility of perpetual performance before it demands your attention? How do we bargain with the parts of ourselves that make us feel powerless? These were all questions that we wanted to explore while telling this story.
